Race schedule back to normal

The committee is very happy to confirm that racing goes back to the 11.00 morning starts from Sunday 6th September.

The programme has been updated and is available on the website.

The Battle of the Beaches incorporating Bart’s Bash and raced with Lancing SC is due to take place on Sunday 13th September at 12.00. The start is off Beach Green on Shoreham Beach, so we would recommend that everyone plan to launch in time for an 11.00 SSC race to get to the start line in time.

We are very short on members signed up for duties and, with the current guidance enabling those in different households to be in a boat together, we look forward to seeing more of you sign up – we do expect all those that have been, or intend to go, sailing (recreationally or racing) to volunteer.    There are around 60 duties left to fill over the remainder of the season and all members are required to do duties. Sign up on Dutyman or contact Paul (dutyman@shorehamsailing.org) if you don’t have an account.

A huge thank you to the following who have all done at least one duty so far this year: Richard Bramley, Louise Carr, Will Carroll, John Cavell, Gareth Griffiths, Helen Hilditch, Tim Holbrook, Simon Hudson, Ben Jones, Sophie Mackley, Megan Pascoe, David Sellar, John Shelton, Pete Snowdon, Mike Valentine, Paul Walker, Ivan Walsh, Alan Warren, William Warren, Bill Whitney, Jamie Wright and Andy Wyatt.

Thanks in advance to all those that have signed up for later in the season.
