Dutyman is now up and running so please sign up for your 2016 duties here. If you aren’t registered then please could you contact Richard Bramley to get a login and password.
From last year’s dutyman records we know of around 30 people who did not do any duties at all. We will be in touch with all of those who haven’t fulfilled their membership obligation as this is unfair on the willing members who give up their sailing to do extra duties and creates a lot of work for the dutyman administrators.
While we are sympathetic that not everyone is fit enough or experienced enough to man the rescue boats, help is alway welcome for onshore duties at open meetings, improver days and work parties.
We have organised the following training course which members are encouraged to sign up for.
- RYA powerboat level 2 – Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March
- Race Officer Training – Saturday 9th April. (info to come)
- Club Safety Boat Training – Saturday 9th April. (info to come)
