On Wednesday 3rd September, the club will be a hive of activity as we welcome the 2025 entrants for the Contender & Wayfarer Nationals for 4 days of racing (4th – 7th September)
We currently have 30 Contenders & 16 Wayfarers confirmed with entries closing on Wednesday 3rd September at 23:59
Much work has been going on in the background & with thanks to SYC & Adur we are able to provide 5 safety boats along with our 2 Committee boats & also Smee to patrol the harbour & transport helms from the club to the port, where our race committee boats will be berthed. (With thanks to Shoreham Port!)
The event is kindly being sponsored by Hartley Boats, Ocean Sports Board Riders, McNamara Sails, Allen Brothers & Craftinsure.
Hopefully the current weather will pass through & sunnier days will prevail, with a nice south westerly!
Finally, all SSC members are reminded that access to boats in the boat pound will not be possible from Wednesday 3rd September to Sunday 7th September inclusive.
